The weekend offered such a powerful confluence of events (Juneteenth, Mercury going retrograde, the solstice, a solar eclipse, the sun entering Cancer, Father’s Day) that I decided to lay out some cards and see how things might look with a different frame. I used the stunning Dreams of Gaia tarot (a gift from my sister-in-law) and a spread from Whitsunday Oracle.

Dreams of Gaia is actually one deck I do not have, but would love to acquire one day. I hope the spread was insightful and offered clarity for this retrograde period (currently also have Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in retrograde too, so there’s a lot of re-adjustments going on I would say!). It’s a beautiful deck and very different from what I’m used to. I got it for Christmas but haven’t worked with it much, so the spread you posted seemed like a perfect opportunity. The spread is simple but meaty, and it yielded ideas that I’ll be mulling over for a while – I like that. So thank you. 🙂 (And yes, maybe with so much readjusting, it’s just as well we’re all buckled down at home?) Stay safe!
