All along the street, signs pop up
brilliant as flowers, unexpected
as mushrooms: new-leaf green
Roofing by Sta-Dri, Vote for So-and-so
in variegated red-white-blue, apple red

Thanks, Carla! It was a fun poem to write. And it occurred to me that I could make good use of all those pictures I’m always taking with my phone of flowers and stuff. I’m a little slow, but I keep moving down the road. 😉
